While it’s so much fun to host events, meeting like minded supporters of our cause. Experiencing joys on everyone’s faces. The planning can be hard work. Our team here at West Indian Friends That Care host all our events as family events, and we cater to the whole family . This means we book bouncy castles, face painting activities, dancing competitions, car shows, duck-off competitions, live entertainment and barbeques. There are activities for every attendee and also it's FREE ADMISSION to the public .
Event Security
We take the security of our events very seriously. We work to ensure the safety of all families attending our events and that’s why we employ paid security teams and police officers. Through this commitment to security, our events have been incident-free since the founding of the organization.
Our Summer & Spring Events
Each year, we hold two fundraisers: one in the summer and one in the spring. The summer event is the largest, and is responsible for the majority of our fundraising income. Within this large summer event, we host local Caribbean entertainers, including soca, reggae, chutney, tassa and steel pan musicians. Our spring event helps showcase our work throughout the year and brings our entire organization together to discuss our accomplishments and goals for the future.
