Poverty, neglect and hunger are not simple seasonal issues. They are a constant reminder of a world without hope for the future. It’s why our year-round fundraising work has garnered so much attention in local communities across Canada. You can make a difference. Devote an afternoon to supporting our fundraisers and see first-hand the difference we are making and the thankful smiles of children around the world.
At the regional, national and international level, West Indian Friends That Care is a vocal advocate for underprivileged children around the globe. Our recent work has taken us to Trinidad and Guyana to work with orphaned children in the two countries
Visit to Guyana
Our goal, taking three orphanages out for full day of fun in the West Coast Guyana. Here the kids will be treated with breakfast, lunch, dinner. All you can eat finger food, snacks as well toys presented to each kid. Our only rule is that kids have fun! fun! fun! and more fun! This will be a day where they kick back and enjoy being kid. Join us in making an everlasting and rememberable memory in these kids' lives. Want to participate and prove It's not who we are. It's the difference we make!
