Here at West Indian Friends That Care, we work to make a lasting difference in the lives of children across Canada and the Caribbean. We dedicate our time and resources to ensure young children have a healthy and happy life.
According to the definition within the Oxford English Dictionary, an orphan is a child whose parents have died. In our society, it’s common for orphans to be dismissed and unheard. While we strive to support our community, we’re often not able to direct our own personal resources to help those most vulnerable. It’s for this reason so many are now turning to West Indian Friends That Care.
West Indian Friends That Care is on a mission to provide underprivileged children around the globe with a hopeful future and a loving environment in which to grow. We believe that through our organizational capacity and fundraising, we can have an immensely positive impact on many children and provide them with the education, the care and support they need to thrive.
For more than 20 years, West Indian Friends That Care has devoted its resources to passionately advocating for underprivileged children across Canada and the Caribbean. We feel these young people are under-represented members of our world community and deserve our assistance and love.
